Laura Abeyta is a native of Saguache, Colorado, and has belonged to numerous community organizations including: Mountain Valley District Accountability Committee; SCSEED (Saguache County Sustainable Environment and Economic Development); Coached Peewee basketball; Historic Preservation Commission; 9Health Fair Volunteer; University of Phoenix Alumni; Chamber of Commerce in Buena Vista; BV HOPE-Human Trafficking Organization,; and the American Medical Association.

Laura graduated from University of Phoenix with a double Master’s degree in Master of Business Administration and Masters of Healthcare Administration with a minor in Sustainability Management. The heart of her work is centered on impacting lives through mentorship and developing a new generation of leaders with a desire to change the world for the best.
