In 2018 he established the Saguache Groundwater Community Group when high sub water threatened the Town of Saguache, and in 2019 he was instrumental in bringing transit services to Saguache, the KV, and Town of Center. Working with the Chaffee Shuttle he brought the Eagle Shuttle to the San Luis Valley. He was also instrumental in establishing the West SLV Transit Committee, as acting chair, until it dissolved in 2020. He continues to participate as a contributor to the SLV Transit Council today.
