We’re excited to share that ScSEED has been featured in a new video produced by The Colorado Trust, highlighting our work in Saguache County and the powerful impact of rural philanthropy partnerships.
The video is part of The Colorado Trust’s 40th anniversary celebration in 2025, which commemorates four decades of supporting health equity and community well-being across the state. As part of this celebration, The Trust is recognizing the achievements of grantees who are working to improve lives in rural Colorado.

ScSEED received funding from The Colorado Trust following the San Luis Valley Rural Philanthropy Days event last fall. This support has helped us strengthen community-led projects focused on housing, economic development, and equitable access to resources. We're deeply grateful for their investment in grassroots solutions that reflect the needs and strengths of our rural communities.
The Colorado Trust has been a longtime partner in rural Colorado, helping to support connections between nonprofits and funders through its involvement with the Community Resource Center’s Rural Philanthropy Days program since 2009. These relationships are key to ensuring that rural voices are heard, and that resources flow to where they are most needed.
We’re honored to be recognized alongside other incredible organizations making a difference across the state. Thank you to The Colorado Trust for celebrating the work happening in our communities and for helping to make it possible.
