Through the hosting of seed exchange events, regenerative agricultural education, and supporting local food producers, the San Luis Valley Seed Exchange’s mission is to inspire and actualize our community to become more resilient and food sovereign.

The 15th Annual San Luis Valley Seed Exchange will take place on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th, 2025 at Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa, beginning at 10am each day. Saturday will close down at 5pm and Sunday at 2pm.

This year will once again feature local vendors, food options, the traditional seed swap table, door prizes, $2 off soaking at Joyful Journey, and the Speaker Series in the Event Yurt. The Speakers Series theme for 2025 is “The Secret Life of Stewardship” and will host numerous presenters. 

There will be a Community Sharing Hour, which is an opportunity for anyone in attendance to take the microphone for a few minutes and share anything they feel the community should know. This is a great opportunity for the vendors or other organizations to let people know about their offerings or needs.
