COMMUNITY • ECONOMY • ENVIRONMENT
Since 1999, ScSEED (Saguache County Sustainable Environment & Economic Development) has sponsored many community organizations and efforts to create a better life in Saguache County. From planning strategies, facilitating community meetings, surveys and data collecting, writing grants, building partnerships and networking across the Valley and beyond, hosting the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, publishing local assessments and historic brochures, managing downtown revitalization projects, environmental clean-up and preservation, healthy living efforts, youth education and recreation, economic development programs encouraging local shopping, recording and preserving rural lifestyles for posterity.
